Entry requirements, and much more
In addition to entry requirements, our portal also provides live Covid infection numbers, weather, exchange rate, travel popularity, hotel/flight availability, and lots of other information that may be useful to those considering flying from the UK.
Which countries require a PCR test?
Many countries require a fit-to-fly certificate, which is usually the results of a negative PCR test. These tests must be booked privately. The list above shows the test requirements for each country. If you click on a country you will find a lot of other useful information including any other entry requirements.
What’s the difference between a PCR and an RT-PCR Covid-19 Test?
Ultimately, A PCR (Polymerase chain reaction) test and an RT (Reverse Transcription) PCR Test are both designed to detect a current infection of Covid-19. An RT-PCR is suitable for any country that requires a PCR test; however, some popular travel destinations specifically require an RT-PCR test.
With the exception of our same-day service, all PCR tests at VIVO Clinic are RT-PCR tests.
How often is the information updated?
Our information is updated frequently. Entry requirement data is checked with our data partners every six hours. Live infection statistics are checked approximately every hour. When viewing a specific country you can see when all of the different pieces of information were updated near the bottom of the page.
How accurate is the information?
The information is sourced from hundreds of different resources and aggregated by our data partners. We chose our data partners because of the quality, and accuracy is very good. Despite this, we still insist that you check any information with your travel operator or the government website before making travel arrangements.
At the bottom of each country page is a form where you can report information you believe is inaccurate. Please provide a source when filling out these forms.
