HIFU Facelift Dubai
The HIFU Facelift uses revolutionary technology to tighten the skin and reduce signs of ageing such as lines and wrinkles. HIFU stands for High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound. In basic terms, this means that tiny ultrasound beams are emitted into the skin, which converge at pre-determined depths of 1.5mm, 3.0mm and 4.5mm. Each of these depths corresponds to a layer of the skin; the depth of 1.5mm targets the epidermis, 3.0mm targets the dermis and the depth of 4.5mm targets the Superficial Muscular Aponeurotic System (SMAS) layer. HIFU is one of the only non-invasive technologies that can target and tighten the SMAS layer without surgery.
Once the beams converge at specific depths, they create invisible ‘micro-holes’ within the skin. This triggers a healing response from the body, encouraging the production and strengthening of collagen fibres. Collagen is a protein that contributes to the tightening of the skin. Therefore, the HIFU Facelift can improve the appearance of the skin.
What happens during the HIFU Facelift?
Before the treatment, your therapist will draw markings on your face. These highlight which sections of the face should be treated and which should be avoided, such as areas that are close to the nerves. Next, ultrasound gel will be applied to the face. This enhances the effects of the ultrasound beams.
Your therapist will use a cross-hatching technique to treat the relevant areas. For areas such as the jawline and around the mouth, your therapist will only emit HIFU to the depth of 1.5mm, as these areas are more sensitive.
Once the treatment is complete, the ultrasound gel will be removed. C TOX Serum will be applied to the face, which helps to further stimulate the production of collagen.
How long does the treatment take?
This will depend on how many areas you have treated – for example, you can choose to treat just the lower face, or the eye area. If you treat the full face, this should take around 1 hour and 30 minutes, including a 30-minute consultation.

What areas can be treated?
With the HIFU Facelift, you can choose to treat specific areas of the face such as the eye area, jaw, or lower face. Alternatively, you can undergo a full facelift. We can also treat the neck and décolletage (upper part of the chest).
When can I see results?
You should notice visible results within 3 to 6 months after the treatment. It is important to remember that results from the HIFU Facelift are gradual and will not appear overnight. Therefore, we recommend that you take pictures before the treatment so that you can use these for comparison.
How long do results last?
This will depend on your skin, but generally, results can last anywhere up to 6 months.
Is there any downtime?
No. The HIFU Facelift is a non-invasive treatment, and therefore, there is no downtime needed after the procedure.
What are the side effects?
It is common to notice redness, swelling and tenderness in the area after the HIFU treatment. Some clients may also experience temporary tracking. These side effects should fade within a few days.
At which locations can I have the HIFU Facelift?
You can undergo the HIFU Facelift at any of our locations.
Do I need to do anything after the treatment?
You should avoid hot environments such as saunas and steam rooms, and any kind of heat treatment for at least 3 days after the HIFU Facelift. We would also recommend that you avoid cooking over a hot stove for at least 24 hours following the treatment. You will be given more detailed aftercare instructions by your therapist during your consultation.
