What is the Day 2 antigen test?
Under-18s and fully vaccinated* travellers arriving in England from most non-red list countries can use an affordable Day 2 antigen test in lieu of a PCR Test.

How is the by-post Day 2 antigen test done?
In the event that you are using a postal kit, you must simply upload a photo of your Day 2 test result to our secure web portal. The photo of your result submission must have the lateral flow device, the ID page of your passport, and your test reference number (starting VIVOC). Refer to the image below for an example of how it must be done.

Our trained personnel will verify the test result and send you official certification confirming the results of your Day 2 test within 24 hours*.
*Although we try our best to validate the result submissions and return Day 2 cetificates within 24 hours, this time may increase slightly during busier periods.
We typically deliver Day 2 antigen test certificates within 12 hours of result submission. However, this may go up to 24 hours during busier periods.
If you have submitted your negative test result via our secure web portal, you can rest assured that you will definitely recieve your Day 2 antigen test certificate even if slightly later.

What if I get a positive result?
If your antigen test result comes back positive, you must enter self-isolation immediately and take a PCR test. PCR tests can be accessed free of charge by ordering in the usual way through NHS Test and Trace – via nhs.uk/coronavirus or by calling 119.
Can I take a Day 2 antigen test if I travel to England from a red list country?
If you are travelling to England from a country on the UK’s red list, you will not be eligible to take a Day 2 antigen test, regardless of your vaccination status.
Red list country arrivals must take Day 2 And Day 8 PCR tests and quarantine at a hotel approved by the government.
Can I take the test if I have had the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine?
In order to be eligible for the Day 2 antigen test, you must complete the full course of your COVID-19 inoculation 14 days prior to your travel to the UK. To see if you qualify as fully vaccinated, please see Gov.uk
