If you are travelling to England from a red list country, you are required, by law, to self-isolate for ten days and take PCR tests on Days 2 and 8 of arrival.
These rules will also apply if you visit a non-red list country but are not fully vaccinated. However, in such cases, if you take part in the Test to Release scheme, your quarantine period may be reduced to as little as five days.
Under this scheme, you can take a PCR test 5 days after your arrival in England. If your test result comes back negative, you may stop self-isolating immediately.
Please note, the Test to Release scheme is entirely voluntary and only applies to travellers self-isolating in England. If you choose not to opt into the scheme, you will have to complete the mandatory ten-day quarantine period.
When will I receive my results?
Our Birmingham clinic offers a same-day results service for £165 and a next-day results service for £85.
Your results will be sent via email, and if they are negative, you may end quarantine immediately.
What is the Clinic Address?
The address of our Birmingham Clinic is:
***UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES ARE YOU TO ENTER THE MAIN CIBA BUILDING PREMISES. IF THIS HAPPENS, WE WILL HAVE NO OPTION BUT TO TURN YOU AWAY FROM YOUR APPOINTMENT***
BEHIND THE CIBA BUILDING AT THE BOTTOM OF THE CAR PARK
146 Hagley Road
Great news, we have free parking on site which we did not have previously! Once you enter the car park you need to drive straight to the bottom and the building will be just to the right of you. Please look for the “Team Prevent,” and, “Vivo Clinic,” signage. Please ensure you park within the parking bays closest to the “Team Prevent,” building.
If you are travelling by bus there is a stop directly outside the car park with regular links in and out of the city centre.
If you are travelling by train the nearest station is “Five Ways,” which is a 10-15-minute walk. Alternatively, Birmingham New Street is only a 10-minute taxi journey away.
***JUST TO REITERATE, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES ARE YOU TO ENTER THE MAIN CIBA BUILDING PREMISES. IF THIS HAPPENS, WE WILL HAVE NO OPTION BUT TO TURN YOU AWAY FROM YOUR APPOINTMENT***
Polite Reminder: Please do not attend a booking if you believe you have a current Covid-19 infection. We offer a current infection test which doesn’t require you to attend one of our clinics.
