Information
On arriving in England from outside the UK, travellers are legally required to quarantine for ten days. This self-isolation period can be reduced to five days if you opt in to the Test to Release scheme.
The Test to Release scheme will enable you to take a Covid-19 PCR test five days after your arrival. If your result comes back negative for Covid, then you may stop self-isolating.
Please note that participation in this scheme is entirely voluntary and applies only to the people self-isolating in England.
