The law requires green list country arrivals in England who are not fully vaccinated to self-isolate for ten days on entry.
This self-isolation period can be reduced to as little as five days when choosing to opt into the Test to Release scheme. With this scheme, a PCR test can be taken five days after the arrival.
If a negative result is attained, self-isolation can end immediately.
The Test to Release scheme is entirely optional; travellers may quarantine for the full ten days if they desire to. It can only be utilized by non-red list country returnees who are self-isolating in England.
When will I receive my results?
At our Peterborough clinic, you can book a next-day results service at £125 or a same-day results service for £165.
You will get your results your Day 5 PCR test via email.
What is the Clinic Address?
Our Peterborough clinic is located at:
Unit 5, The Courtyard Business Centre,
27 Norfolk Street
How can I opt into the Test to Release scheme?
To join in the scheme, you must:

You can book an in-clinic Day 5 PCR test at our Peterborough clinic here.
Can I travel to your Peterborough clinic if I am self-isolating?
If you have a pre-booked test appointment, you are allowed to travel to the clinic while self-isolating. Your movement must be limited to your residence and the clinic only.
You have to take an at-home test if you exhibit symptoms or have been near anyone with symptoms.
How does the Test to Release PCR test work?
Like standard COVID-19 PCR tests, swab samples collected from your throat and nose will be sent to our laboratory to be tested for coronavirus.
What if I test negative?
With a verified Covid negative result, you may stop quarantining right away.
What if I test positive?
You will have to start a new ten-day quarantine from the day after you took the test.
What if my test result is inconclusive?
You must continue to quarantine. You may book a retest.
Can I take part in the scheme after I arrive in England?
Unfortunately, you cannot. You are required to include test appointment details in the passenger locator form before your flight.
Can I take part in the scheme if I am travelling from a country on the travel ban red list?
Those who fly in from, or have been through, red list countries are ineligible for this scheme. They must complete the mandatory ten-day self-isolation at a government-approved hotel.
