  • There is no requirement to quarantine when arriving to mainland Portugal.
  • Anyone arriving to the Madeira will be required to present a negative health test from the 72 hours prior to arrival, or take a test on arrival and await the results within 12 hours at the accommodation
  • Anyone arriving to Azores Archipelago be required to present a negative health test from the 72 hours prior to arrival, take a test on arrival and await the results within 48 hours in voluntary quarantine

Are COVID-19 tests required to travel to Portugal?

  • Anyone arriving to mainland Portugal will undergo a health screening
    • Arrivals from the United States and CPLP countries will be required to present a negative health test from the 72 hours prior to arrival, or take a test on arrival and await the results in their accommodation
  • Anyone arriving to the Madeira
    • Will be required to fill a health questionnaire 12-48 hours before arrival
    • Will be required to present a negative health test from the 72 hours prior to arrival, or take a test on arrival and await the results within 12 hours at their accommodation
  • Anyone arriving to Azores Archipelago
    • Will be required to fill in a health declaration, 72 hours before arrival.
