Following the final HIFU Facelift treatment session, it is commonly reported by our clients that they see the benefits of the treatment appearing within 3 months.

Around 20% of our clients reportedly experience visible treatment benefits immediately after only the first session.

Nevertheless, every individual responds differently to HIFU, and, as such, the time it takes for results to become visible is also different.

The skin tightening benefits of HIFU Facelift, on average, tend to fully show up within 3 to 6 months of the last in-clinic session.

Although there are reports of clients having felt some discomfort during the treatment, there are no reports of pain.

The discomfort created by HIFU has been described as being tingling sensations and focused warmth.

For our clients with more sensitive skin, we recommend taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) like ibuprofen that are available over the counter before the in-clinic session.

HIFU can be applied to almost any area of the facial skin. Thus, practically the entire face may be treated.

• Not drinking alcohol for a few days

We typically recommend only a few things for our clients to be aware of and do in preparation for the HIFU Facelift treatment.

Starting a minimum of two weeks before your HIFU appointment, you must safeguard your skin from getting a tan.

We cannot perform HIFU procedures on tanned skin, whether the source of the tan is the sun or something else.

One week before your appointment, you must stop using lotions, creams, makeup products, and other skincare products that cause irritation, no matter how small.

When you attend our Leicester clinic for your HIFU appointment, do not use any moisturiser or makeup.

Our clinicians require your face to be clean and dry to be able to perform the treatment.

In case you are on prescription medication, please do not schedule your in-clinic treatment session until two weeks have passed after your last dose.

Also, please keep in mind that if you turn up at our clinic with a fever or cold sore, we will ask you to reschedule your HIFU appointment.
