The Plasma Eye Lift procedure at our Glasgow clinic uses controlled plasma micro-burns to rejuvenate the skin on the eyelids.

The Plasma Eye Lift treatment, as provided at our Glasgow clinic, has been demonstrated to produce results that may last up to two years.

However, it’s important to note that the Plasma Eye Lift does not stop the eyelid skin from ageing.

The Plasma Eye Lift procedure at our Glasgow location typically takes around an hour to complete.
If you are to have a face-to-face consultation with the clinician during your treatment session, the in-clinic session may extend to longer than an hour.
The Plasma Eye Lift is a non-invasive treatment designed to enhance the appearance of the skin around the eyes by rejuvenating and tightening the eyelids.
The Lipo Freeze Plasma Spark Pen, which makes the procedure possible, generates plasma by ionizing gases in the air with an electric current.
The pen’s tip produces small, superficial burns on the surface of the skin using a 0.3mm needle surface without ever penetrating the skin.
These plasma burn dots are formed on the treated area as a result of skin tissue vaporising and a carbon crust left in place of the vaporised skin.
The skin becomes firm and tightened, with the carbon crust naturally shedding off.
During the Plasma Eye Lift treatment, some people may experience some level of discomfort, although the procedure is generally not painful.
The level of discomfort can vary based on an individual’s pain tolerance.
If you feel any discomfort during the treatment, it is important to let your clinician know so that they can take steps to alleviate it.
After having the Plasma Eye Lift treatment, it is normal to experience minor side effects like scabbing, swelling, and redness.
These effects are usually temporary and should go away within a few days of the treatment.
Some people may also feel irritation right after the procedure, but this should also disappear quickly.
Following a Plasma Eye Lift procedure, the recovery time usually lasts from 3 to 14 days.
It is common to have visible scabbing, which usually disappears within 3 to 7 days.
Swelling and redness may also occur and may take 7 to 14 days to resolve.
During this time, it is important to follow the care instructions provided by your clinician to ensure proper healing.
It is important for individuals who have received the Plasma Eye Lift treatment to follow the aftercare instructions provided to ensure optimal results and minimize the risk of complications.
These instructions may include wearing broad-spectrum sunscreen for six weeks, avoiding direct sunlight and tanning beds, keeping the treated area clean and dry, and refraining from using makeup or mascara until the area has fully healed.
To clean the treated area, only use warm water, and you may apply cold compresses to reduce swelling. Do not scratch the treated area, as it may lead to infection or scarring.
It is not uncommon for some light blistering to occur during the healing process, and the skin may appear pink while healing before returning to its natural colour.
There are several medical conditions or factors that may make someone ineligible for the Plasma Eye Lift treatment.
These may include pre-existing health problems, previous surgery or laser treatments in the eye area, pregnancy or breastfeeding, a pacemaker, metal implants or pins in the treatment area, cancer, or HIV/autoimmune disorders.

This was my second treatment. The salon is lovely with a pleasant waiting area. My therapist, Misbah was knowledgeable and professional and put me at ease straight away with her friendly demeanor - I felt comfortable and relaxed throughout. The treatment is slightly uncomfortable but I chose to have the highest setting to get the maximum benefits - you can reduce it to a lower setting if you find it uncomfortable. I would definitely recommend going - try and book with Misbah as she goes the extra mile to make you feel relaxed and pampered.
