At our Leeds location, the Plasma Eye Lift treatment usually takes about an hour from start to finish.
However, if you plan to have a face-to-face consultation with the clinician during your treatment session, the in-clinic session may take longer than an hour.
The Plasma Eye Lift is done using the Lipo Freeze Plasma Spark Pen.
The pen creates plasma by ionizing gases in the air with an electric current.
The pen’s tip uses a 0.3mm needle surface to create small, superficial burns on the surface of the eyelid skin without ever touching or breaking it.
These plasma burns appear as tiny dots. They are formed on the treated area when skin tissue is vaporised, and a carbon crust is left in its place.
The carbon crusts fall off naturally.
The skin becomes effectively more firm and tighter following the treatment.
During the Plasma Eye Lift treatment, most people do not experience much pain, but some individuals may feel some level of discomfort.
This discomfort can vary from person to person, depending on their pain tolerance.
It is important to let your clinician know if you feel any discomfort during the procedure so that they can take steps to reduce it.
Minor side effects like scabbing, swelling, and redness are common after a Plasma Eye Lift treatment.
These effects are usually temporary and should disappear within a few hours to a few days of the procedure.
Some people may also feel irritation immediately after the treatment, but this should go away quickly.
The recovery time following a Plasma Eye Lift procedure typically lasts from 3 to 14 days.
Visible scabbing is common and typically disappears within 3 to 7 days.
Swelling and redness may also occur and may take 7 to 14 days to subside.
The Plasma Eye Lift treatment aftercare includes the use of broad-spectrum sunscreen for a period of 6 weeks, protecting the treated area from direct sunlight, keeping the treated area clean and dry, and stopping the use of makeup or mascara until the area has fully healed.
To clean the area, only warm water must be used. Cold compresses may be applied to the treated area to reduce swelling.
It is essential not to scratch the treated area, as this can lead to infection or scarring.
Some individuals may experience light blistering during the healing process, and the skin may appear pink in colour while healing before returning to its natural shade.
There are a number of medical conditions or factors that may prevent someone from being eligible for the Plasma Eye Lift treatment.
These may include existing health problems, previous surgery or laser treatments in the eye area, pregnancy or breastfeeding, the presence of a pacemaker, metal implants or pins in the treatment area, cancer, or HIV/autoimmune disorders.

This was my second treatment. The salon is lovely with a pleasant waiting area. My therapist, Misbah was knowledgeable and professional and put me at ease straight away with her friendly demeanor - I felt comfortable and relaxed throughout. The treatment is slightly uncomfortable but I chose to have the highest setting to get the maximum benefits - you can reduce it to a lower setting if you find it uncomfortable. I would definitely recommend going - try and book with Misbah as she goes the extra mile to make you feel relaxed and pampered.
