We use the HD Plasma Spark Pen to administer the Plasma Eye Lift. The device ionises gases in the air to form plasma, which appears in the form of an electrical arc. The advanced technology allows our practitioners to focus this arc onto the area above the eye in a safe and non-surgical procedure.
This may sound scary, but don’t worry! The HD Plasma Spark Pen does not come into direct contact with the skin. Instead, it is held around 3mm away from the skin. The electrical arc that is created by the device damages the surface of the skin by producing tiny micro-holes. These tend to immediately crust due to vaporisation of the skin. The Plasma Eye Lift at VIVO Body Studio Liverpool is generally not a painful procedure. However, some patients report minor discomfort when the micro-holes are formed. Rest assured, any irritation you may experience only lasts a second!

Following the treatment, the carbon crust that forms around the micro-holes gradually falls off within a few days. It is important to let this happen naturally. Once this has occurred, the skin underneath will appear tighter and firmer. You may experience mild irritation immediately after the treatment. However, this typically fades within a few hours.
