Cryolipolysis, for a non-surgical fat removal treatment, is exceedingly effective.

Nevertheless, we are unable to guarantee any exact figures or definite results regarding fat removal through cryolipolysis.

The reason is that every individual responds differently to the treatment; thus, the results are also specific to the individuals.

Cryolipolysis is not designed to help you achieve your weight loss goals.

Our fat freezing treatment will remove a substantial amount of fat cells from targeted areas of the body.

However, even more than a substantial quantity of fat cells removed is ever rarely enough to help lose weight.

The results of a cryolipolysis treatment are permanent.

Cryolipolysis at our Leicester clinic is performed with the use of vacuum applicators.

The vacuum applicator is positioned over the area of excess fat, and the suction mechanism of the device pulls the patch of fat into its cavity.

The cryolipolysis applicator then subjects the patch of fat inside the cavity to a temperature of -7°C.

The skin of the area being treated will be protected from the freezing temperature with a gel pad that is applied in advance.

The freezing temperature inside the applicator’s hollow cavity will efficiently crystallise fat cells for the next 30 to 90 minutes.

However, it is important to note that the initial 5 to 10 minutes of treatment may result in some discomfort.

There may be some mild cramping due to the vacuum mechanism of the applicator, and the sub-zero cold may feel unpleasant.

Regardless, the feelings of discomfort are replaced by numbness within a few minutes.

After which, you may expect the rest of the session to continue smoothly.

Cryolipolysis was approved by the US Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) for use in fat-reduction procedures back in 2010.
