10: Stem Cell Facial
If you’ve got £15,000+ to burning a hole in your pocket, then why not get some stem cells injected into your face? Well, the reports of facial tissue turning into bone may put you off, even if the price doesn’t.
9: Kitty Litter Facial
We’ve got to think that one night Michelle Phan got home after one too many vodkas and passed out in the cat’s litter tray, but decided to style it out and call it a beauty treatment. The secret to purrfect skin? We doubt it!
8: Vampire Facelift
The theory is that drawing blood from your face and then re-injecting causes the production of collagen and elastin. It sounds odd, but that hasn’t stopped the likes of Kim Kardashian having a go!
7: Beer Facial
Apparently, beer has anti-inflammatory properties that make it an ideal ingredient for a rejuvenating facial. So, if go back to work after lunch sticking of Heineken, just tell your boss that you’ve been exfoliating.
6: Marmite Facial
When it comes to this weird facial, you either love it or hate it. There is no evidence to suggest that Marmite is effective at facial rejuvenation, but if you do try it, make sure that it’s in the privacy of your own home, lest you be accused of being racist!
5: Bird Poo Facial
This weird facial one will definitely raise a few eyebrows, but the technique has been used for centuries and has experienced a recent popularity increase due to a celebrity following.

4: Semen Facial
No, this isn’t a joke, but you can probably guess the gender of the person who came up with this idea! The theory is that spermine can treat acne and the signs of ageing.
3: Fire Facial
Don’t try this at home. In fact, you probably shouldn’t try it anywhere. People in China with a burning desire to improve their skin are getting alcohol soaked cloths placed on their face and then set on fire.
2: Curry Facial
Sounds madrastic, but apparently the capsaicin (8-methyl-N-vanillyl-6-nonenamide) found in chilis can stimulate collagen regrowth. We wouldn’t recommend it but if you ever pass out in your lamb bhuna, at least you can tell yourself that it made you look ten years younger.
1: Sheep Placenta Facial
Apparently, Victoria Beckham is an advocate of getting sheep afterbirth smeared on her face. Is she baarrrmy or does this actually combat the signs of ageing? Ewe decide.
